Welcome to St James’. We’d love you to join us for church on Sunday.

As a church, we are fully aware that we are all imperfect people. Yes, even Christians are imperfect! So, come as you are. You don’t need to dress up or put on a front. Our great delight is to connect people to the living God, whom we can meet through the pages of the Bible.

Our weekly Sunday service at 9am, and our doors open a little before that so that we have a chance to get a seat and greet others. We’re located on the corner of the New England Highway and Ollera Street in Guyra. Our address is 64 Ollera Street, Guyra, NSW.

What you should expect when you visit?

When you attend St James’ Guyra you should expect:

• Preaching from the Bible that is true to its gospel-focussed message, and relevant for today.
• A variety of different liturgies (from contemporary to traditional) that are consistent with the Bible-shaped teaching, principles and practice of the Anglican Book of Common Prayer.
• Music and prayer that is focussed on the Gospel of Christ.
• A multi-generational congregation with people from different nations, ages and stages of life, and fellowship that flows out of our unity in the Gospel, whilst acknowledging and celebrating our differences.
• For the kids, we have a special time in the service each week where we think about the sermon passage and apply it to their lives. On the 3rd & 5th Sundays of the month we run a kid’s church during the service.
• Opportunities to grow and contribute to the life of the parish.
